Coughs and sneezes

We're almost half way through our Easter holidays and we have done absolutely nothing.  By this I really mean nothing.  The minute the kids stepped out of the school gates we all went down with the first cold of the season.  The living room is strewn with tissues, our noses look like we've been wiping them with a cheese grater.  Really pleasant.  Thankfully the weather hasn't been great so staying indoors has been a breeze and we have been basically living on chocolate and toast since Sunday.

Chocolate overload

I think my household is on the verge of a chocolate induced coma.  With all of my good intentions of reducing our chocolate intake we seem to have consumed even more in the last few days.  Who can resist the 50% off all the eggs not sold for Sunday's gorge fest.  I certainly can't.  It isn't made any easier when you have a daughter who would merrily eat her own body weight in the stuff if she was given the chance.  In fact it was the first thing she said to me today "chocolate buttons" ??

Caine's Arcade

There is nothing quite as beautiful as a child's imagination. Caine is 9 years old and spent his summer making his own arcade out of cardboard boxes and packing tape at his fathers auto parts shop in LA. It's a delight to watch.
