Rock Frocks

I've been hunting around for new tees to play with and have found some absolute corkers.  I've experimented  with making the entire dress out of an one over sized men's tee, taking the whole thing apart and starting from scratch.  I love the classic A line dress shape, it lends itself very well to the restrictions of a tee shape and is very flattering.

'The Doors'
'Kiss'
An absolute treasure which I found in my local charity shop was this Calvin Klein men's long sleeve tee luckily in an XL with it's labels still attached !!
I had enough stripey fabric left over from 'The Doors' dress and used that for the new sleeves plus I add some length and contrast with a touch of red. I am hoping to design more 'Rock Frocks' in a variety of sizes once I've refined my pattern.
'Rock & Roll is my salvation'
(Front and Back)

'Buds'

'Cheeky'
Three designs have made their way to the USA.  Two of which will be making an appearance on You are the supermodel which is a magazine show produced for mobile and on-line viewers.
My most recent creation was snapped up quickly by a facebook customer.  It's a gorgeous design inspired by 'Lolita Fashion' and the daddies tie t.shirt trend.

And while most of my making time has been taken up with dresses I have had a very special t.shirt to make for a very special little girl who is the daughter of one of my old students, now that makes me feel very old !
She is also the grand daughter of  'Wolf Creek' actor John Jarrett so hopefully he will like it *GULP*
'Blue Lola Tee'
Next up I have another 'Kiss' tee that is just begging for a make-over and a rather stunning dark brown, red and white 'Prague' tee which I can't wait to get my teeth into.

You may have noticed a number of changes to my layout....this will no doubt continue until I'm completely happy, a few tweaks here and there.

It's just the beginning

Hello everyone and welcome to my new .com

It has been a little while in coming but I have finally registered enoch & plonk it's very own domain. And how excited was I !? Well I found it very hard to sleep that night. Other folks may just do this sort of thing without a second thought but for me it was a huge deal and a very grown up, official thing to be doing. It was up there with getting an ABN and registering a business name.

AS you can see I now have a funky new website too, and while it is only a DIY freebie I think it looks every inch enoch & plonk. I've managed to avoid any expensive hosting fees by embedding it into a page on this blog. maybe not ideal in business terms but I like the idea that when you visit http://enochandplonk.com you get a friendly, personal blog post, which changes, offering something new every now and again and gives you the option of visiting the 'flash' website.

As some of you may know I do have a number of other blogs which I will be closing due to my ever increasing workload and a need to prioritize. This will hopefully enable me to concentrate on writing more often on just this blog; gathering great stuff to put in my newsletter; hunt for great tees and fabrics for new designs; and above all continue to care for my gorgeous daughter who has just been assessed as having severe global development delay and so will need a huge amount of support and therapy for the foreseeable future.

I'd like to thank all of you for your continued support and love.
